Default How to access factory radio settings?

My bro own a 2004 Monte Carlo and he is looking to replace the factory radio with an aftermarket one. Well, The factory radio has settings for trip count, oil life, etc. Does anyone know how can he access these settings without the factory radio?

Any help will be appreciated.

In his owner's manual it will tell you how to do some things.

Reset oil life -> with car in ON setting pump gas pedal 3 times.
Tire mon -> pull out and push in light switch 3 times

Or he can get an adapter and wire his stock radio to the trunk
