Help, No SOUND!!!! Blown factory HU or amp?

Exactly! The amp is only 200 watts max. And that's way under power for the 4 speekers. The monte carlos are natorious for this. So you can buy a new one for 250 bucks and it will eventually blow again or you can buy a aftermarket 4 channel amp and some waring harnesses and hook it up yourself. Plus it will sound better

I know the amps commonly go bad but it's not due to underpowering the speakers. The amount of power a speaker can handle does not put any more or less strain on the amp powering it, just so you know.

Allright! I need some help with this installation... Since I don't have a factory amp in my monte, I figure to go ahead and install an aftermarket amp that will power the interior speakers and run another amp for my subs. I have been reading a lot of posts and comments on how to do but they all are not the same on how to do it. I know I need a line out converter (2 channel) for the 2 subs from the rear speakers, so thats out the way. Since the factory amp is not in there, how can I hook up the aftermarket amp to the speakers to power them? What items do I need? Any help would be appreciated!!!
