Default Help! No Power to deck!

So about a week ago my aftermarket deck decided to shut off. I checked all fuses, they're fine. I purchased a new deck and wired it up, and it too does not get power. I checked the hot wire and I am not getting any current.

I would much rather not bring the car into a shop or anything, and do the work myself. What do I do from here?

If you checked the hot wire and you're not getting power there, just run a new hot wire from your battery. Problem solved
