Default LED lights

I am replacing all of the bulbs in my car with LEDs, and im having trouble with the 194s, they keep flashing then burning out. And im 99% sure its because they are crappy ebay leds. So whats a good quality BRIGHT replacement LED? im wanting to actually redo all lights, interior, turn signals, break lights etc.....

now i know im not the only person on this forum who has changed their interior bulbs from the stock bulb to LEDs....everyone must be getting them from Ebay like me lol....i have tried superbrightled.com, but those are the same, the ones in my feet area and the ones in my map lights keep burning out.

I got my 194s from V-LEDS.com. Probably no different than the ones you bought. Mine haven burned out yet, but I have a problem with them staying connected sometimes. They must wiggle in the socket and come out of contact sometimes. My remedy is hitting the gauge cluster, lol. I havent had them go out on me in a while tho.

you good sir are a lucky lucky man, My gauge lights are small light bulbs that were soldered into the board, i had to un-solder ad then solder in individual LEDs.....The 194s im having trouble with are my lights that light up your feet when the doors are open and the Mpa lights.

I heard something about adding a resistor to the bulb, don't recall the specifics but might be something worth looking in to.

the odometer looks great....but those aren't the LEDs im talking about, im talking about the 194s, the ones that go in our map lights, reverse lights, license plate, and down by out feet. i buy the ones that are 12v, so a resistor shouldn't be needed.

Have you contacted customer support for superbright led's? I think they might know more about the issue... Good luck.

you dont have to add resistors to the 194, here's where i got mine:

http://stores.ebay.com/ExtremeBrightLEDs

this is what i use in place of my 194's, they have an adapter and are brighter than just the standard bulb:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/12-LE...ht_5672wt_1165

you just tell her the color you want and it comes with all of the adapters

here's the standard 194 from her also:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LED-M...ht_6314wt_1165

and lastly here's mine in my car for an example:

i have the ones in the 2nd link, the brick ones, not the bulb looking ones, and i can't complain, they're awesome
