Default engine bay wires

I need an honest opinion on the engine bay...some of u vuys have seen my engine bay so I'm wondering should I go with mixed black and orange wire covers, or should I do black and orange electrical tape? The intake manifold is gonna be orange with black lines on it. Jus need a few votes nwhatnot

Wiring has always been something that, in my opinion, should not be the focal point. The standard black loom does the job just fine without overdoing it. I actually covered my aftermarket amp's red power cable with 1/4" ID black loom (in the engine compartment) so it wouldn't stand out.

Matt, I like your thinking. 90%+ of the time, I'll agree with your stance. Sometimes I see people that did knock out stuff with customizing there wiring harnesses (and typically it's not with off the shelf stuff from the parts store). But the other 10%, it becomes over bearing and does take away from what is important.

I think done tastefully as accents as opposed to taking away from the main attraction it is a good thing. Think of a woman wearing knee high socks, or thigh high fish nets essentially they both do the same thing, but the visual it gives is remarkable

I would like to see pics of your engine bay so that we know where your starting point is. I know you have a black and orange theme going, but it may carry over too much if you start doing it in the engine bay as well, depending on how much you do. With your intake being orange and the obvious visual focal point they may take away from it.

I don't know man, it looks pretty nice in there as it is the wire covers would be the way to go, as the electrical tape would take away from what you've done, in my opinion.

I think with all those big pieces being orange, you should keep the wires black for an even balance and nice contrast.

I agree with Matt and others who say leave the wires alone. The orange pieces are the focal point of your engine compartment and adding orange wires will certainly clutter up the look.

Keep it clean and simple
