^^ wow, that things gotta slam hard! Did they port the box up through the rear deck? I noticed you have tweeters mounted in the A-pillars aimed at the windshield; is that the set of tweeters that goes with the front component set or did you mount the components in the stock location and then add another set of tweets? Why did you choose to aim them at the windshield?

They're not aimed directly at the windshield, but kind of. It was the flattest part of the A pillar. I actually wanted them pointing at each other, but that was tough. I believe the factory tweeters are still in the doors and hooked up. It needed sound brought up off the floor, and in LadyT's Solstice GXP LadyT, the tweeters are in the A pillars and sound good.

Gotcha. As long as you're happy with it that's all that matters. I bet that thing sounds nice, i'm jealous.

This thread is getting sidetracked, but here is another pic of the drivers side tweeter along with the hard-wired radar detector.

Should be able to get it from Crutchfield, or any reliable stereo shop. JiggliesFunHouse just got one in Chicago area for $30. It's called a remote mount cable for the factory radio.
