WOW. Sure wish I could help you Jiggly, but your question is way too techy for me. There are a number of guys on this forum that really know their stuff, hopefully someone will be able too help.

I just didn't want you to feel you were being ignored.

Hey Jiggly, let me help ya out as best I can...

The steering wheel functions can be still used if you get the correct wiring harness. I recommend www.crutchfield.com. They have always been affordable with the other guys and the customer support you cant beat, seriously. if you and your father have a problem installing the deck, im sure they would help you on the phone if you had bought one of their wiring harnesses. and, I know there are ways around reseting the settings without the factory radio. they SHOULD be in your owners manual. if you have any specific questions, post up, and we can try to help ya locate how to do them!

The oil life is reset by turning the key to acc and pushing the gas pedal down 3 times. Low Tire pressure is by Key to acc and pull the headlight button to parking and back off 3 times.

As for a wire harness SCOSHE has them for about 100. You want to avoid the $12 harness out there as they don't allow door chimes and a few other weird things.
