That amp will power your subs, but post a link to the subs you want to use. If you haven't bought the amp yet, there might be a better choice for you. Definitely don't power your front or rear speakers with it.

Almost all headunits do 22 watts RMS per channel, although some (JVC I think) do around 30. That's enough if you're running factory speakers, and it'll get the job done for some aftermarket speakers. The headunit will effect everything quality wise since it's the source for everything. Cheap headunits are cheap for a reason, so stay away from Boss, Jensen, Dual, and other similar brands. Go with something respected like Pioneer, Alpine, Eclipse, JVC, or Panasonic.

Post up what equipment you already have (with links would be best). Also I'll just throw out there since you're new, when you look for stuff, only read the RMS wattage ratings because they're the important ones. You can 100% ignore "max" ratings; they don't mean anything.

Ok. Wiring those subs to that amp will be pretty simple. I'm assuming that sub box has only one speaker terminal? If that's the case, just run the wires straight from the amp to the box, that simple. The downside, though, is that your amp is only half as powerfull as your subs can take, so you won't be getting the most out of your subs.

Those speakers will sound ok on head unit power, but an amp wouldn't hurt anything
