Default Gorilla Flex! I hope the Monte can handle this

So yesterday me and a buddy ripped up my trunk carpet and laid down 4 layers of sound deadening material and some expanding foam on my trunk floor. The goal was to reduce, if not eliminate, the rattling of the bumper cover. Put the carpet back in and rewired my amps with new power and ground wire from KnuKonceptz and installed some KnuKonceptz banana plugs and speaker wire pants on the speaker wire for my subs. This was necessary, except for the speaker wire pants and banana plugs, to allow me to lay my back seats down and to dress up the install a little bit. So after we were done we drove to an isolated business park and let it rip!

I couldn't believe my eyes when I first seen it. I'm gonna try to find a shop local that has a TL meter so I can get it metered and see what it does legal (sealed up, mic on the dash)

Thanks man, my buddy used his camera this time, it picks up the bass pretty good, good video quality but doesn't do too well with the mids and highs. But that's gonna change pretty soon cause I have my eye on a Kodak Zi8 and an aftermarket wide angle lens for it

As for the songs, let me see.....

Vid 1, Wacka Flocka "Throwin' Fingers Up"
Vid 2, The Jacka "Won't Be Right"
Vid 3, same as above
Vid 4, same as vid 1
Vid 5, The Luniz "I Got 5 On It" special bass enhanced version
Vid 6, E-40 "Back In Business"

That's what my girl says.....although after seeing the vids she wanted to hear it full tilt while we were out and about this weekend so I let it rip and she handled it pretty good actually.

I gotta start working on my video editing skills now, which are non-existent at the moment.

Well, the owner of Sundown Audio hooked me up nice! He's a member of a few car audio boards I go to and when I heard I was thinking about going with his product he gave me a once in a lifetime price so I couldn't refuse. Let's just say I paid far below retail, which is $249ea. My box is tuned to 30Hz....I had my doubts about tuning that low but i'm now a believer

Looks like the sound killer stuff u laid down worked out pretty well. Some systems just ruin it for me when I hear more exterior metal rattling than bass.
