Default Got some subs, now which amp?

Sorry for all the threads about this, but I am getting so confused from different websites. Well here's the story. I bought two 12" kicker compVRs in a loaded enclousure for $150. They are 4ohm. Now my mono block amp is the pioneer 760watt 2 channel. Right now I have the wires connecting to the speaker bridged on the amp. There is only one speaker terminal so its pretty simple so far, but my question is will my subs be damaged overtime on this set up?

Also, which amp would you recommend for these speakers?

Need a little more info to be sure. Can you post a link to the subs you bought?

If there's one speaker terminal on the sub box, and that is 4 ohms, you should be good to go the way you're set up right now. However, if each sub is 4 ohms and the terminal therefore is 2 ohms, you're gonna blow your amp.

Your subs will be safe as long as you can't here any distortion in their playing. If you can hear distortion, that means you're either pushing the subs too hard or you're driving your amp into clipping, both of which will destroy the subs over a short period of time. If you hear distortion, turn the gain down on the amp until you don't hear it anymore.

The terminal says 4 Ohm, so I believe that it is good.

Here is a link to the subs, but I have a slightly different box.http://www.autotoys.com/x/catalog/KI...2942.html#tabs

A single 4 ohm terminal on the box running to a bridged 2 channel is fine- and you're getting the most out of your amp that way.
