Nothing wrong with that. I have aftermarket speakers hooked up to mine as we speak.

Well I tried the first one and it was DOA out of the package so I had to bring it back and get another one. After I got it wired up and installed there is a little dial on it that allows you to turn up the volume I have the dial all the way up and still on my Alpine deck I can turn the volume all the way up and its not loud at all. I mean don't me wrong its loud but at full volume you would think it would be blow ur ears out loud and its not even close. Other problem is it doesn't seem like it integrated the factory amp because the speakers put out almost no bass and just OK treble. I know I have it wired and installed correct cause I have checked it like 5 times lol. I looked at some sites including Crutchfield and other people have had the same issues it that GMOS-04 and on Crutchfield it is rated horribly.

This is what I am going to try:
http://www.pac-audio.com/productDeta...&CategoryID=26

I am just waiting on a e-mail back from PAC to see what they suggest as far as BOSE or NON-BOSE----But according to BOSE they never put a system in the Monte Carlo so we will see lol

Yeah I have Onstar and the amp under the back trunk tray.--Had the RDS tape and single cd player before the Alpine deck.

--That bypass you mentioned before how exactly does that work?

Ok, then that harness should be exactly what you need!

I am new so I don't know how to do that quote thing yet but What exactly does that Harness do? Do you have to run it through the whole car from the amp to the deck? What do you have to do to wire it?
