B-Quiet sound deadening
#41
Thats the one I was looking at the D34 78. And Thats how I wanted to hook it up with the Top and Side post.
When you put the sound deadening in the trunk did you relay the carpet down on top of it then.. I dont know if I will since my design will fill up the entire trunk anyway and you wouldn't even see the carpet.
Thanks for those pics too. I cant wait to put my dynomat in.. Hopeing next wed and thur.

I did 2 layers in the hole trunk and the also back deck panel(6x9 area) . 1 layer in the hole cabin floor to celing in the door and the door panel it took me and 2 Friends 13 hrs / over 2 days to do it and put everything back
I did put the carpet back in because it matched the box covering I had at that time ( old box)
You could do that it would be interesting to see on a TL if that would help or not with your Spl because in theory carpet will suck up db

Bet you won't make that mistake again

well, it was a plastic cap i bought at napa that covered the entire top of the battery terminals. The battery was said (by advanced auto) to fit in the car and did so perfectly. Where i made the mistake i feel was the plastic battery retaining strap that was factory installed in those cars. I should have replaced it with a billet one or something a bit beefier. That strap snapped and the battery grounded out on the hood on a curve. I used to race around this area like an idiot so it was only a matter of time i guess..

Please explain how a yellow top isnt good for car audio at all and how thats been proven, you know you cant just come in here making claims like that without backing it up with some facts.
I don't agree about caps being worthless, its just that 99% of the time people use them incorrectly. IMO, a cap should not be used in a system where dimming is an issue, thats putting a band-aid on a gunshot wound from a shotgun.
