Default aftermarket radio won't turn on.

I spent all night trying to install my new radio. (Kenwood KDC-BT755HD) This is my first time installing a radio ever. I spliced and connected color to color wires. I double checked that every wire was connected accordingly. I turned on my car and pressed the power button, got nothing. Tried a new fuse still got nothing. Do I connect extra red wire to my battery? I'm not sure what I should do.

You don't have to connect anymore wires. Is the radio brand new or used. That could have gone bad. Check to make sure that all the wires are connected again, never hurts to check again. If they are all connected try using a volt light tester to all the wires that should have power through them. If you have anymore questions just ask someone will help.

Take a picture of how it's wired. What year is this? What harness did you use?

Your red wire is the hot wire, you can connect that to your ignition switch for power up, thats why its not coming on lol ^_^;
