Default Stinkin' parking lights won't turn off

So I turn off the car yesterday, and my dash lights are clicking on and off. So I restart the car and let it run a few seconds, then shut it off. Thought all was well.

Then when I return a few hours later, I notice my parking lights are on. The won't turn off. Both front and back. Disconnected the battery, but when I reconnect, lights come back on.

Any ideas?

Not very impressed with the electronics in this vehicle.

Thanks,

DD

Had the same on my 2000. Flickering on and off. I had to take the negative batt cable off so it would quit. Ended up being the body control module. $230 dealer plus calibrating (dealer only computer) or you can find Delco parts online for a lot less and then have the dealer calibrate it. The BCM has all of your milage and code info on it. They chargeed me $80 for the calibration. The module is located under the dash above the brake pedal. Easy out and in. I agree with the electronics being less than impressive.

Thanks, Ben.

I disconnected the positive battery terminal; I'll try the negative one.

It'd better not be the BCM. We already replaced that once, less than two years ago. I'll be pitchin' a hissy with Chevrolet if this is the problem.
