Aftermarket Head Unit?

Aftermarket Head Unit?
Hey guys!
New to this forum. I'm buying an 04 Monte Carlo (Or Hoping too) however one thing I want to make sure I can do is change the head unit. I've got over 200 Gigs of music and I don't think I have enough CDs...or room.
Anyways I've looked at head units and from the sounds of it replacing it may be troublesome. However the links I found are no longer being made or are TOO expensive.
Thoughts?
Also for those interested: 2004 Monte Carlo A little beat up but that means I can work on it!

If you go to crutchfield.com it will tell you exactly what you need. You dont have to buy it off that site but it will tell you want you do need. It is not very hard to do either and you can probably do it yourself.
