Its pretty simple and no, theres no wires or anything back there. Once you pop up the trim piece from where the seat back meets the seat bottom, its just nuts and bolts after that. Mine is completely gone, my new seat back has 4 6x9s mounted in it, and im fiberglassing a sub box for the bottom to sit over my amps.

Once the bottom comes up, there is a little "valley" if you will, so you'll be able to build a nice nice tool box in its place

Here is my back seat delete phase,

10" massive Audio Comp sub and the 2 Kicker amps. The diamond plate removes and all the crossovers, wiring and such are installed below in the niche.

all that work on MonteSSV and he still is running the stock seat??

I figured he'd have a nice cushioned recaro by now

I know, the days of a stealth Monte are past. Perhaps Sam will address this at some point after power sliding through and around a road course a few times. Guess we all pick our battles...
