I have a 2006 MC SS I will be installing the GM interface adaptor for my new amp. My question is what dash pieces have to come out and how doI remove them to get to my head unit?

In here I belive they have detailed instuctions as to how to switch the decks out.

 

the trim on the outside of the radio, it goes around it pops off. It's hard to explain without a picture but if u look at the radio its the thin inch wide plastic that runs around the radio between the radio and the dash
