Talking '04 Grand Prix Seat in MC LS

Hey guys! Long time no activity lol anyways...I just recently installed some Pontiac Grand Prix Seats in my car. OMG do they feel soooo nice. Comparable to my buddy's SRT4 seats that came with his car. Took me 7 Hours to install w/problems I encountered. After getting both of them (had to hack the driver's powered seat out of the junkyard half of a car) I brought them home and cleaned them up (they were mostly dirty as hell from dirt, dust and debris)

NOTE: I do feel like I sit a little higher lol

Here's how they look installed! I plan on doing a write up soon!

Like I said, took me 7 hours to install them both with the problems I've encountered, but fixed them.

Thanks for stealing my idea lol

They're direct fit, luckily the tracks line right up.

Also, you feel like you sit up higher because the seats themselves make you sit an inch higher lol

They look nice!

Haha sorry man. The grand prix and montes are W-bodies so I knew they would fit right in. I just had to swap the electrical harnesses, and the seat belt things (whatever theyre called). I think its also because its pretty stiff foam lol thanks man!

Would love a set of leather GP seats in mine. They are so much softer.

They look cool. How do they match the rear seats. Are they the same color and fabric

The fabric is different and has a better "hug" feeling if I do say so myself.

would you share the information on how you did this. My sons birthday is in a week. We purchase 04 Grand Prix really nice leather seats for his 05 Monte Carlo LS. The mounting works but wiring harness does not match.

did you put 04 wiring into 05 or 05 into 04? I need to know what to order to make the 04 Grand Prix driver seat work in his 05 Monte… Please help ASAP.

DAMN. It’s been more than a decade since I’ve last logged in, I had to reset my password to respond to you.

Honestly man I have no memory of what I did with the wiring harness. I had a 2002 Monte, so I’m not sure if the wiring harnesses would even match on a 2005.

I pulled the GP seats from a junkyard, I think it was a lower trim.

Whats wrong with the harness between the two? Pics might jog the deepest part of my memory banks

These are previous connectors from sons 05 Monte.. trying to determine if there is any type of connector/adapter that could work or if we need to put harness from 04 grandpas in to connect too…the current wiring in 05 Monte does not connect to his new seat.
