The 3.9L was also in the '06 Impala 3LT and the '06 Impala and Monte LTZ models, which should be identical to ours under the hood.
I felt the same way as you about the color dark silver... it wasn't my first choice, but it's growing on me.
Haven't seen any dark silver Montes with racing stripes. You've gotta put up a pic or two when you get a chance.

Nice catch, I didn't really notice that, I'll have to start paying more attention to what I put down on internet space. Looking in solara's gallery and comparing his close pictures to mine it becomes more apparent that we do have different colored cars.

I knew that the LZ9 was in those other cars too, I was kinda generalizing, it's also in and I quote from of all things wikipedia.com:

I know someone turbo'd the 3.9 in one of the G6s with a manual transmission, but they're bay was set up a bit different and the guy said it wouldn't fit an automatic due to the tranny.

Oh, and for the pictures, I will get those up as soon as I get a chance, I'm thinking about going home this weekend, I might get the chance to use dad's camera to snap some.
