Ok then, your catalytic converter is creating water inside your exhaust pipes. Over time this water can sit if it's not all escaping.

I'm just strictly saying, even if you don't drive a car in the winter, you are going to tell me aluminized steel isn't going to rust?

One of my Dynomax mufflers got a hole in it from the inside out. I too painted the whole exhaust with high heat paint but doesn't protect the inside of the pipes.

I think I will be going with the SLP for sure now, haha. Thanks for all of the input!

That's true. Even though it wasn't one of the OPs choices, you may want to look into Magnaflow. My whole system is stainless and I have a lifetime warranty on the mufflers.

However many exhaust shops can still buy a Magnaflow Resonator, Muffler, and the 4" tips and bend you some pipes.

I like the full SLP system on my car. It's been on it since about 6 months after the car was bought new in 01 by the father in law and it still looks brand new. It has been ceramic coated on the outside (not sure about the inside). Car spent 5 years in Wisconsin and was driven year round.

I know it's been a while but I think I will finally be able to install my SLP exhaust over break. It's been a long semester, leaving me with little alone time with the Monte

I also heard that SLP discontinued the Powerflo system 31028M which is for Montes. Anyone know if this is true?
