maybe it seems quieter because it is out from under the car now. Where as before it was reverberating on the underside of the car. Thats my guess anyway. let's hear a new vid of it.

 

Thats exactly what i first thought. I guess i need to let someone drive it around me. It just seems like far too big of a difference to really be due to the tips being installed, i did contact SLP and they told me that the 3.5" od tips should have no difference to the tone.

I will be posting a new vid today after work and i will also show you guys a bit of a warning to run your mufflers blowing right at your bumpers and the damage it can do XO.... I made cuts in the bumper for the tips and it will have to be re configured a bit, you will see in the video that the tips and cut outs are actually more towards the left of the bumper and not exactly centered, but i figured i could shave the cut outs a few inches towards the right and see how it looks from there. the bumpers really experimental, im going to be getting the LTZ bumper cover soon so feel free to bash and give any comment you have.
