DO NOT forget colder plugs. THEY ARE A MUST HAVE!
Also, if you have any intentions of changing cams, I believe that 1.9 rockers don't work well. Check 1st.

For your exhaust, don't go to 3 inch pipe unless you are looking to be making more than 450 hp. It weighs too much and you don't see any gains. I've heard it can even hamper your performance.
I disagree- only because he's only looking at a 3" downpipe. I agree with that statement beyond the downpipe- but a 3" DP seems to work well on the L67s.
My bad, I thought I read CatBack there. The 3" Downpipe is awesome on the L67. I noticed a huge power difference with that and the ubend delete.

Yeah, its b/c it would make too much lift, 1.9:1s on anything but the most mild cam will make insane lift numbers at the valve.

Its basically a one or the other thing- you either get high ratio rockers, or a cam. The only people I've really seen do both are those running monster cams who want to convert to a roller style rocker- but they tend to stick with a 1.6 or 1.7

don't put the stock resonator back in.... that's like going back to an ex-girlfriend that you dumped for good reasons.

You took the resonator off to improve flow, why would you want to restrict it? The stock res is not straight through IIRC. It is baffled like most stock mufflers and resonators.

If you want to reduce your drone, get a straight thru 3" in and out resonator or cherry bomb. It will reduce rasp and drone. Do the 3" DP, it will not hurt your performance at all, it can only improve it, especially since the 2 1/4" DP that's stock is crush bent, and is actually less than 2" diameter at one point in the bend. That restricts flow enough to cause KR, even with a stock SC pulley.

ok Thanx I think I will get that 3" downpipe and CAI and be done with my mods. O last lav74 what tuner or PCM would be the best for my car?

Which do you want- can you do tuning yourself, or do you just want to buy a canned pcm? The price is pretty different- you're only looking at like $80-100 for a canned pcm, and $400-500 for a tuner.

I'm doing a 2.5" custom catback in the spring and was planning on res. delete but don't want a lot of drone so do you still think just a reg. cherry bomb 2.5" in and out would do the job?
