Ram air?
wait i thought hai (hot air intakes) were the new things! :p ill see what i can rig up...im thinking sheet metal...i might also be scrapping the dual part of the ram air and switching back to just single...and making it pvc...thanks for all of the good ideas guys
Personally, if you want a cheap "cold air box" take your stock box and gut it out. It may not be as good as a $250 but it is alot better then hai. On one of the scans we did on my car with a gutted stock airbox, driving around town and sitting at stoplights it got to 20 degrees over outside air temp and on the highway it was 7 degrees. Now all of this was done on a 80 degree day so I do not know what it would be like on a 100 degree day but still not that bad for free.
here some that i was looking at when i first got my car, they can be expanded into a tube to go down behind the foglight, of course youd still need to block off the engine heat

not sure how well the heatshield would work, if it would work at all but these look like theyre your best bet for making a ram air behind the fogs, as long as you can make a heatshield
