Default Loud Monte Carlo

The other day I had a Monte Carlo drive down my street It was 2000-2004 but it sounded like it was a HEMI or 5.0 mustang. Any ideas on how he accomplished this without a full engine swap. reason being i'm trying to get my Monte to be a little louder?

`No Sorry, but maybe next time you see him (?) or hear him (?), you can run him down & ask ?

It could have been a modified v6 with headers, cam, mod's, custom exhaust (?). Several Member's have put on flowmasters & magnaflow systems that sound `Sweet.
Explore the MCF & search YouTube to see `if you can find a vid/clip of Monte Carlo Exhaust Mod's...

^^Click above link & check out some Monte's & see `if you can hear/find a same or similar sound that you've heard ? Above link
This is my new stright pipe exhaust on my 2003 3.8L Monte Carlo SS. No resonators no mufflers. From the headers theres a highflow downpipe and just pipe all the way back.. Sounds wicked for a v-6

Good Luck & Happy Easter from `Space
