are you just joking about all of this now?

because a tube and just a filter will only set you back once the engine heats up. with an enclosure or making a fender well intake once the engine heats up it will still be pulling in cold air.

You got 176.000 mi I wouldnt want you to mess up that nice black car of yours!LOL And yes there are alot of things you can do to the air intake its like porting and polishing tricks! There are ways to get cool air up there think about it?
