Well I figured out where to get the extra fittings needed to make this rail kit work with the car and I got my LS2 throttle body in the mail today. Things are moving right along

too bad you can't hardly see them once the intake is in...they are so pretty I didn't think they would make a big difference on stock injectors but I could be wrong. You are making quite a bit of power maybe it's time for an upgrade Greg? I got them mostly for fitment so I didn't have to a rail that went over the top of the intake.

I am kinda disappointed though...I bought an xlink wire adapter for my throttle body and I don't think the pin out is quite right so I will have to get a pigtail and solder it in. Good thing I got the xlink for super cheap.

I ordered some additional AN fittings tonight and just waiting on Will at this point for my MAF and tune then it's done and in.

I haven't posted in a while. I got my fuel line fittings today and hope to have them run maybe tomorrow.

I worked on some fitment issues tonight I was having with the really thick intake gaskets. I got it all figured out and think that part of the project is done for.

I also cut the pcv and map off the top of the intake so it will be totally smooth on top. I relocated the Evap vaccum to the back of the intake so it is completely hidden. Trying to figure out what I could use to do the same for the brake Booster. It's getting really close to being done. Just minor things left really.

I got one of those intakes laying around at the shop but thought it wouldn't clear the hood. If it works out for ya, dyno numbers are a must.

I am certain it will work. I will be on a dyno in spring and was on one last summer so I should know how much it helps out.

got the rest of the shaving done and should have all the vacuums relocated and ready to go. Had some clearance issues with gaskets installed. I feel like I have all that shored up. My help to run the fuel lines this weekend couldn't make it so Hopefully tomorrow.

Looking great so far!!! That intake looks like a huge beast sitting on that engine!! I hope you see some great improvement when it's done and your Monte is re-tuned.

Thanks it's getting there. I can't wait to start it up. I have alot of sanding to do and finishing work though. You literally have to almost wiggle he intake to get it to sit in there haha
