Default cold weather & intakes

I have a modified form of a FWI and with this cold weather my case seems to be taking liner to warm up...is there anything anyone else does in this climate to help the process

I just put my stock airbox back in and removed my FWI and bought another thermostat from Oreillys (had holes drilled in the other). Seems like it warms up almost at the same pace but oh well its already done and I dont feel like switching them back out lol

I have a stock, 195* t stat... in never gets hot enough here to use the colder one.
My modified version FWI IS the stock air box modified to pull air from the fender.

You can get the filter back in the bay and it will grab the engine heat :p

Mine is stock T-stat and My temp Gage only Reaches 1/4 Mark 75 ish. and when im stoped at a red Light She finally will start to Kreep up to the 90 Mark. untill i start to drive

Yep. Stop and go traffic will definately make it warm up faster.

When my wife lived in SD she used to block 1/2 of the radiator with a piece of cardboard to aid in bringing the engine up to operating temp. The heater always blew warm air and the car never overheated. YMMV.
