Oil leak - started with cold weather
Not sure if I'm in the right area.
I have 2006 Monte, 3.5 V6, 29k. Wife noticed an oil spot after I left this morning, which it was into the 20s last night. SInce this is Florida, we really don't "winterize" our cars.
As I left work today, there wasn't any puddles or spots beneath the car, however I had to add a quart of oil. Using a flashlight, it looks like it is coming from the top-right section of the engine, by the firewall.
Is this the dreaded "O-ring" problem that plagues these things, or is it something more severe, and if possible, the estimated repair costs?
