not bad! That's a good way to go. Saved money and the cold air intake looks good

I have an 03 LS and i have the Wizaired and it is definitely the way to go. It gave my acceleration a little bit of increase, or at least it feels like it. And past 3000 RPM its a nice deep sound, would be better with an exhaust system but thats also pretty expensive.

I'm definitely going with the Wizaired CIA now. Thanks for the help!

You may want to upgrade your exhaust as well to improve the hp of your car.

I decided to go the el cheapo route instead of shelling out for a name brand CAI. I happened to see a 4" to 3" plastic coupler there too (~$3), so you can build yourself something for cheap, if people want their own CAI. I just couldn't find smooth angled pipe.

I got an Ebay BCP RED V6 Short Ram Air Intake Induction Kit + Filter for $29. I also stopped by home depot an picked up some 3" smooth metal B vent double walled piping to work on. Not sure if I am going fenderwell or going to build a box. Hopefully the double wall will provide some insulation for that air.

You have a parts list? Specifically what you did for your box and for the linking between pipes. The linker looks like this part.

NIBCO 3 in. Black ABS DWV H x H Coupling-C5801HD3 - The Home Depot

Was thinking of buying some sealing tape too, or borrow some parafilm from my lab and use that as we use it on some vacuum applications and ti works well, not sure how it would handle engine heat over time.
