Cold Air Intake for 3.4 V6

I have been looking for a CAI for my 2004 Monte Carlo LS 3.4 V6. I came across two different websites with CAIs made for the 3400 motor. I found the Wizaired Cold Air Induction System that costs $300 and I found one on Milzy Motor Sports for $180. I just wanted some opinions on which one to get because it is a big price difference and I don't want to waste my money on the cheaper one if it is a piece of crap and I don't want to waste money on the more expensive one if the cheaper one works just as good. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!

Here are links to the two types of CAIs so you can see what I'm talking about

I believe the Wizaired is the better choice of the 2. It will give you true cold air, but it is more expensive. The air box (I believe) connects to the inner fender well where the cold air comes in to the engine bay and directs it directly into the motor

The wizaired is more money but of way better quality. You could go to a hardware store and build your own intake for less than that one from milzy. To be honest im surprised they're selling something so simplistic for $140.

Jerry has a good home made fwi using supplies from Home Depot.

I have a wizaird and it's nice but for what it costs I expected a better finish (such as they used bungee straps to hold the lid on).

I would recommend contacting bill at cold air inductions. I've seen their products and they look a lot better for the money.

Thanks for the help everyone! I will probably go with the Wizaired. I just wanted some opinions on it to see if it would be worth the money.

That intake looks nice! How much did that end up costing you?

I found one that would fit the 3400 from 3800 Performance. There, you click on the links on the left side for 2000+ LS/SS and then click on the LS. It is a little less expensive, but it also gives you the option for an opening at the top of the box if you were to get a ram air hood from MPD or somewhere to make it a true ram air. I am torn between that one and the Wizaird.
