Default Cheap Exhaust mod?

So I've looked into all the exhaust kits that make your car sound tougher, more muscular like, and it seems Flowmasters are the best. I hear a whole new exhast kit will reduce low-end torque, while increasing high-end HP, and if you're not set up right you could have a nest of other problems. All I want is the sound though, I don't care for a gain in HP, and I certainly don't want a loss in low-end torque either, so can I just install two Flowmaster 40's mufflers and get the same sound/effect?

if all you want is sound then a muffler is all you need to do. Plus thinking about your resonator, if you wanna keep it, change it, remove it.

Research those things and you'll be fine and it won't be expensive.

Also look into getting a front stainless steel powerlog on your Monte. Stock front exhaust manifold is a big choke.
