I'm not looking to make myself a race car. I would be interested in knowing if the bare-bones stock setup can be altered and modified to give me a little bit more performance for a budget-minded old guy who has a Monte and wouldn't mind playing with it and spinning my wrenches again to add some pick-up or to make it run more efficiently. Are there there any little tip or tricks I could invoke to make a Stock 3400 SFI run better ... (Once I get the Plugs changed and the new wires on) ... that are very basic and easy too do?

What was the first thing you did?

Or, ... should I just leave it alone?
