Car Shuts off when idleing (K&N intake system)
I've replaced the maf twice I don't believe it's an ac Delco. And my tps sensor was replaced recently, along with my iac. So I dunno where else to go. I Guess I'll try getting an ac delco maf sensor next and see if it helps. I really wish I could get this problem squared away finally. I miss how smooth my monte was. And I don't have cold air intake on mine
Its been a lot of members experience...(Including me)
Any brand other than AC Delco for the MAF... is or becomes a problem..
Cheaper isn't always better.
Keep us posted!
Thanks

They make MAF cleaner...
Is your MAF an AC Delco? If not...
I highly recommend using only AC Delco.
Do not touch the filament in the MAF..merely spray it clean, let air dry.
Do not wipe it out/off..
You can use carb cleaner to cleanout the IAC (Idle Air Control)
It may also be the TPS..
with the grease that's in it could be freezeing up and or needs to be cleaned and regreased. possibly.. It maybe sticking..
IMO:
K&N cold aire intakes cause more problems then there worth,
Via over oiling and or loss of particles from the filter.. attaching themselves to the MAF..
Your not the first to have problems with using a K&N filter system.
We highly recommend using one from CAI Inductions.

I try to go with ac Delco as much as possible.
