Default Air Filter Cover project

Here is another little project I completed tonight just to add a special touch to my 84. Yeah I know, I am special sometimes and quite obviously a little touched Anyway, I took a trunk badge and sail panel badge I got at the junk yard and cleaned them up and put them on my air filter cover.

BBMike-
Thanks!
The answer to your questions...LOL
No naked drag racing for me..I would be disqualified before I got to the staging lanes if I did not wear clothes...Ewww no one would want to see that...LOL Would have to stand BEHIND my car for my winners circle pic!! Although I could always use body paint and paint on some racing gear...that would eliminate about 10 lbs!!! They SAY it is NHRA rules for full length pants, shirts, etc...I know they just don't want to see a bunch of naked fat people trying to drag race!!!
*How much does it weigh? Actually it lost weight with that addition as I deleted the evap canister that is no longer in use as there is no emission control left on the car!!!
*ALWAYS go to bathroom before race!!! *see below-all tanks near empty before racing!! LOL
*I Run with less than 2 gallons in tank as I carry a gas can with me that is left back in my pit spot. I forgot to put more gas in it one night after my last run and on my drive home, I found myself on the side of the road doing my own pit stop!!! OOPS
