OK...I have a K&N cai....and I have a friend who has some diamond cut stainless...I was thinking of fabricating a cover for it. I have seen some plexi covers that show the filter...but I'm thinking to bolt the stainless to the top of the shield for a different look...cover the filter with diamond cut.....

I personally think it would a little odd- too flashy IMO, especially if the rest of your engine bay is stock. I've seen it done before on a wizair setup, and it made it look out of place to me.

 

you could still do the plexi idea tho with the k&n because it is kind of a weak shield to begin with

 

I installed the billet upper motor mounts today....with the cross members coming.....
I want to dip the radiator mount...make it shiny..but I think a nice mount job with the shine that I have now might work
