I have Borlas. But basically a chambered muffler uses baffles and routs the exhaust through them to help filter out noise. Must mufflers that people get for loudness are straight through mufflers. But beacuse we have a resonator and alot of rasp nice chambered mufflers allow you to get better sound than straight through (flowmaster and thrush are usually straight through)

I went 3" back from the header pipe cut out the resinator raised the O2 bung so it does not pull a code had custom mufflers put on this was done at a custom muffler shop. They put a mechanic in the car and raised it up he started it and they held several different mufflers on the outlets and revved the engine so I could pick the sound I liked it was about $500 sounds great at idle and at taking off and at driving speed. The engine is stock have a CID and that is all ffor now.
But I would guess for true duals you would have to a pair of headers and do some fengalling to get them to fit then what size pipe then there is the O2 sensors and the pcm clearance you can work around that it would be the same problems with a x or h exhaust system and a custom exhaust cost a few bucks but I am going to tell you it was worth it

Yeah my system was.... expensive. Luckily I didn't pay for it. Borlas are on the higher end of the scale. I dont know anything comparable. Im not too familiar with exhaust beyond what we've talked about

Buying a car back system is a joke lol. Anyone that does that is kinda wasteful. Straight pipes to red or mufflers get you the sound just gotta find what one you like. Borla is about same as flow master for mufflers not to bad
