Well you got me there, guess it has been done, I'm eating my hat now. Munch munch munch.. Interesting how after all that work he does not show more of the system. Seems weird and I agree with you, it's not the best example of a 3800 dual exhaust, sounds like he needs alot more work to get the sound dialed in. Watched his other video, the car was parted out and sold due to an engine fire. I did a fair amount of looking and the only 6th gen Monte Carlo I could come up with was a NASCAR Monte that has a true dual exhaust. And these were on scale models.

Ya he kinda just rigged it up lol. What do you have for exhaust I love my idle sound fairly loud coukd be louder and sounds good driving no rasp or anything nice tone just not lots enough. I got headers straight pipe to glass packs to vx mufflers. Without glass packs idle was perfect loudness just to raspy when driving. Any ideas? Maybe diff muffler that's loyder?

Wow, that sounds really bad IMO. I've heard some true dual 3800 F bodies that sounded decent, but this sounded way worse.

I think part of it is that I was a bit put off from the start with the tips. Wonder why he didn't just use the factory openings?

I know what your saying. I like mine loud too. What do you have for exhaust pipe size now?

Are you kind of heavy on the throttle and then just letting off when it does this or is it even under light throttle it pops when you let off? If your actually giving it some gas and then dropping off the pop is just unburnt fuel passing through.

Car sounds good when driving and idle. Just sounds bad when I rev it haha. Would it be better to go with a single muffler or stay with 2?

Holy **** Greg! Iv never heard your car running. That's sexy! Now im even more in love with your car.

Soaxin, I find that quieter chambered mufflers tend to work better with the res delete.
