Default SLP Catback Exhaust......help appreciated

Item: 2000+ SLP Monte Carlo Cat-Back Exhaust
Does anyone have this exhaust? If so how does it sound, would I be able to call you and listen?? Off of SLP and PFYC have basically the same price. How is the exhaust system?

"infuse your 2000-2004 Monte Carlo/Monte Carlo SS with up to 10 additional horsepower with this cat-back system from SLP. Equipped with SLP's "Loud Mouth"-style mufflers and dual 3.5" tips, it'll give your Monte a deep, powerful exhaust sound unlike that of any V6 system you've ever heard. Constructed from mandrel-bent stainless steel for superior flow and corrosion resistance. Includes complete instructions and all necessary installation hardware"

thats what i got out of the website, seems to be pretty good brand. Please post/call or e-mail me. thanks

I have heard nothing but good things about the SLP Cat Back System, but I am still running stock pipes. I did however install 40 series flows that made it sound pretty good. You will have to ask yourself a question though, the SLP system notes that it will give you only a 10 HP increase over stock, well, the U-Bend removal alone will give you at least 6-8 of those ponys. Is it really worth it to spend all that money to get ten when you can spend $100 for the 8 doing the u-bend delete? I am planning on gutting my factory airbox this weekend that is suppose to give me somewhere around 5-8HP as well this weekend that will cost me next to nothing. Also, remove that screen between your throttle body and the intake tube. I am all for a larger outflow system but I find it difficult to separate myself from the $$$$ when there are free and cheaper mods out there.
