I have the Dynomax on my 03 and had the SLP on my 05SS. The SLP has no resonators and has 2.5" pipe and is stainless. The Dyomaxx you will have to paint because it's aluminized steel and will rust and has the 2.25" stock sized pipe. They sound similar but I think the SLP is a bit noisier inside the car. You won't ever get the sound of a V-8 from these 2 setups but they do sound better than stock. And don't expect more than a couple of horsepower gain either.

 

My hp is 0 and my quarter mile is how ever fast I can push the car. lol. Dropped a valve 5 moths back and before I could get any of those numbers. So I am rebuilding it and giving it everything. Just takes time.

how can you notice a gain of 15hp??? lol

 

Well I noticed a gain in power and online it says to expect gains from 15-20 hp so I just went with 15 lol

 

you will not feel or notice a 15hp increase. you think you are feeling it because the paper says so etc. trust me 15hp increase will never be felt the only way you know that you increases that minimum number is with a dyno.

vid#1: being that the system is very mild and the fact i was shooting with my phone, i hope u can hear the idle and some sound as i hit the gas and then as i walked around.
vid#2: was trying to show how the system sounded with regular driving and some acceleration but when i came back up the lot, some customers were walking around looking at new vehicles to my left and i didnt want to look foolish speeding up.

 

I have the dynomax on my 04 ss supercharged but I don't have the down pipe or anything it made a difference in tone for sure at first when i put it on i thought it sounded like a ricer but I waited about a month and it got a deeper tone over time it's not loud at idle but at WOT I think it had a good sound

Also thanks for the info about painting it "awesomess" I haven't done that but I will soon
