hey do any of you know if a k&n intake from a 2006 monte would fit an 02 ss?

 

heres what i gota wizaired intake with a spectre filter coupled with a TB spacer and heat shield, which actually dose work i could actually the TB after driving with it installed where i couldnt before under nearly identical conditions

These show the thermo-wrap on the airbox itself which greatly reduced intake temps even though the kit insulates the inside of the box this still helped alot, nice thing to is that the duct that you get with this system from ZZP is very smooth on the inside and heat reflective as well

future plans include running a ram air snorkle down next to the drivers fog light behind the lower grill and possibly some headers to get rid of the crappy stock manifolds

I made my own air intake..

 

First pic, The Black Rose with Thrasher box, Thrasher filter, and customized Thrasher lid. second pic is Thrasher box with nice RED Spectre filter and no lid(because it won't fit over the Spectre)

 

Cold Air Inductions CAI. It was originally had an aluminum finish and i painted it black. I also put new glass in it. I just fit with my Throttle Body Spacer.
