oh ya and hid came stock with a dual setup, so he would alread have te hanger rubbers up there.

i saw it the other day on a lift, just didnt pay attention. i was so dissopointed in the muffler shop that everybody in my twon raved about.

my buddys family does MUD RACING so the have a garage that will allow me to pu it on.

they also have a sandblaster, i was thinking of blasting all the clamps and hanger pieces and painting them. is that even worth it, or will they be rusty in a year????

,y advice is grill paint blast it coat with primer and then use the grill paint and use a sealer then you fine the spots most people will see is your tips so end right before there. it will help cut the rust down it is a trick that i was taught by some experenced welders and old time racers that owne there shopes. they coat there work and recomend coating them once in a 6 month time frame to make sure no rust is showing.

ya should the dealer have the part??? the hanger is like 10 bucks on gmpartsdirect.com

if they dont do they sell universal ones like at autozone???

i would almost assume that i need it to hang an extra inch lower, casue i dont have the bumper with the exhaust cutouts right now.

they have the parts but it is a little expencive but worth it so you dont have to jerry rig any thing. the worst thing that will be done is that the shop will wild hangers so the rubber peaces could be fit on the left side. if the shop knows what there doing the hangers are vehicle spasifice from gm so the universal ones i would think would give it a wiered hang but not sure.

ok so i got them installed today and finally opened the box of goodies.

they came with a gm hanger inside. sweet.

the only bad thing is that i have and LT with NO bumpper cutouts, and it sits too high. the shop said they couldnt install the tips till i cut the bumper. i opened a new thread for that check it out and tell me what you think.
