Default 2006 monte carlo LT

trying to do some mods hopes are to make it a 12 -13 second car in quarter mile, or even better
but what are some good mods to do?
i was thinking exhaust, possibaly a supercharger, intake..idk what else
idk what the quarter mile is stock, my car is stock right now,
anyone have any suggestions on what to do or where to start?
its the 3500 motor, not looking to spend too much maybe about 2 grand or so

welcome to the forum, another 06 LT in the family. sorry to say, but there are not a ton of mods for these yet but you can add a CAI to start and do a nicer sounding exhaust also.

CAI link..http://www.coldairinductions.com/

yes the 3.9 and the 3.5 are the same when looking up the CAI in the above link...

there is limited things for performance for our 7th gen monte carlos. but there is suspention parts you can get. we share alot of the suspention set up from the 6th gen to help lighten up and stiffen up the ride to give it a better feal for the monte you have. there is a couple of suspention parts for the rear on mine that i up graded in a way to give it a better feel going down the high way just wish that i had the money to do the front and as well the struts as well.
