Plus on 5th Gens the damn battery is in the way

 

What would you guys recommend for an after market throttle body? And is there anything special I'd need with to get with it to connect it to the CAI intake? And also without having to waste a whole new thread, do the Speed Daddy headers bolt on directly to the 3800? And are there any direct built on exhaust systems to those headers?

 

There is no need to switch to an aftermarket TB. The only time you would have to go to a newer one, is if you were out-flowing your MAF sensor and needed to use an external MAF. ZZP sells ported TBs if you really want more flow.

Speed Daddy Headers will bolt right up, however the flanges can leak. Having an exhaust shop properly install will most likely be the best bet.

Any cat-back system for these cars should bolt right up to the headers' downpipe

 

Okay, I just wasn't sure if I should do the TB since I'm doing te CAI anyway and if I needed it to adjust my KR with these tiny amount of mods, assuming not. Thanks much!
