Winter Storage Tip
Hey guys hope alls good with everybody I'm missing my car being out on the road more and more every day.
Just a quick winter tip that I know a lot of guys will allrdy know about and have pointed out to plug/cover your exhaust pipes and prevent critters from building nice winter homes.
The first year I stored my monte for winter a mouse family made a nice home in my stock air intake box... I know here in Canada The mice are relentless at getting into my car because of how warm my shelter is lol I counter this with multiple mice traps at entrances to my shelter, at every carjack/wheel, and a few random places. Sorry for mice lovers but I kill about 30 mice every few weeks right now each time I go out to check on the car.
The most recent attack was at my tailpipes I used a tinfoil cover but when I went out today I found holes where a close by dead mouse had been trying to chew through the foil! I realized my error was not pulling my car cover down past the pipes so they can't get to the end.
Here's couple pics of some homemade blockers you can make out of cardboard and tinfoil taped up to keep mice out works for me

Yeah steel wool is about the only thing that will work for good. They can chew through anything else with no problem. Just make sure you leave enough hanging out so you can remove it when its time.
I use plastic bags w/rubberbands around them (tail pipes). But where my car is stored, there really isn't a mouse problem - I put them on just in case.
