I'll find a current picture. . . .there's nothing wrong with it mechanically, but with 143000 miles, it only took a couple thousand in body work for the insurance to call it a total loss. Either way the accident was their fault, their insurance wrote me a check and i bought the car back for $375 (with hopes of making it rwd w/ t-tops (which i now know is just silly)). Went out and got my 06, and parked the 02. . . .

Interesting idea. I'm a fan of T-Tops, especially on my 3rd gen Camaro
I know those are ideas you are skipping on, still I'd be curious how T-Tops could shake out on a 6th gen Monte (if it's at all possible).

Based on the amount of damage, sounds like you did good on the buy back. I just hope the 2 year rest has not done any damage. My guess is probably not, just give it some TLC, she'll serve you well.

Your '02? Is that a 3400 under the hood (I ask since you said you "tried to make it an SS")?

 

yep. she's a 3400. I think she's right around 147,000, but i could be wrong.
