just make sure you wash it about once a week to keep the salt off of it so it dont have paint issues

I really don't want to drive my '76 through another winter. The car's been my daily driver for 6 years now and has gone through five winters. The last three have taken their toll on the car. Snow chains beat the hell out of both my quarter panels and I ended up bending a wheel, which is why I had to get a new set. And from what the window installer said from when I got a new windshield and had the rear window re-sealed, my vinyl top is water logged and if it isn't taken care of within a year (as of last Feb.) then the rear window will start to leak again. I need to store my 76 and get a winter beater. I'm trying to find a G-body Grand Prix for daily driving.

I've got an 04 SS and the Goodyear Eagle RSA's suck in the winter. If your doing 55 you better start thinking about stopping a good 1/4 back. Goodyear just released a new tire that you can get on http://www.tirerack.com that is just great. I think it was the triple tread or something. They are back ordered until December or something like that and cost about $600 for 4.

I just decided to by a used truck - 2000 Chevy Blazer so I could tow stuff and use it as a winter beater.

I might take the new Monte out a few times over the winter season?

The '86 LS isn't coming out if I can help it. It already has rust issues I've been fighting for years thanks to the previous owner. I don't drive the car daily as I don't drive any of my '57s.

The cars I drive now will have to be enough like they have been.

I will have my 06 SS stored away for the winter. I also drive a 06 Supercharged Cobalt and I have Winter tires for that. Might as well not damage 2 cars so the monte will stay parked. I will have it hooked up to my Deltran battery tender plus to preserve the battery and cover it with a soft car cover and pray Spring arrives early!
