WINDOW NETS
Hey guys, whats your opinion on this idea. I know some of us like to have a race feel kind of look with our cars.
I thought how about putting safety nets on the inside of the windows. It gives it the race car look.
Here is my idea on how to do it, put two pieces of velcro on the door pillars one by the windshield and one by the seat belt. put the velcro towards the top and bottom of both pillars. so there would be four velcro pieces on the net and four and two on each pillar for a total of eight velcro per side.
Do you guys think this be a cool mod?

RE: WINDOW NETS
Unless your Monte resembles something like this one, you'd get a lot of strange looks.
This car is an actual Dale Jr. edition like mine. But his came from the factory without the stripes and small 8 on the sides. The original owner didn't want them installed. Inside is completely done up like mine.
I met the new owners of this car on cardomain. Nice people. Huge Earnhardt fans.
Since the outside of the car was pretty much bare when they bought it, they decided to go all out and do the exterior like the real car. They removed the Dale Jr wheels, stored them away, and installed a set of the Nascar rims with the Goodyear Nascar lettered tires.
I should add that this is not a daily driver for them. They only take this out in good weather, and mostly on special occasions like car shows etc...
An older pic with the original wheels still on the car...

agree with taz...you'll get a lot of strange looks. you might even get featured on ricekillers
he's always adding to it as well. he's now got the good year letters ontop fo the wheel well.. i think a few decals around the fender. his wife looks pretty darn good too i think they're expecting a child right now.
