What music do you Listen to in your MC?
The only part of the factory system used in the new sound system is the XM antenna. The factory XM receiver is out, but the factory radio is installed in the trunk for computer access only. I have a Pioneer XM unit where the factory unit was, with the Sirius unit piggy-backed on top of it. The RCA rear inputs are attached to the Sirius unit, and are the last in line. Everything is Pioneer, with the JL Audio amp powering it all.

I believe this will work on your car, but you have to disconnect your XM to use it. Also, your XM antenna has a big hole in the roof. Leave it alone and put the Sirius antenna behind it next to the rear window as I did.
In my humble opinion, Sirius radio in ALL areas is FAR superior to XM, especially in sound quality. When I used to crank up the XM in rock mode, is didn't sound anything like the CD's, but Sirius is much closer, but still not quite as good, but close. The difference is in the compression, I believe.

for 99 bucks you can get the sirius interface, so I think I'll give it a shot. Thanks Wayne!
And as far as what I listen to, I think it's about to be changed to Sirius

Classic rock all the way right here. For the most part, AC/DC, Zeppelin, Clapton, foghat, etc. etc. etc...
The lady who owned my car before had it broken into, so I had to install my own cd player. Ahh well. I'm not complaining.

I lost my 13 yr old daughter 14 yrs ago, brutally murdered in Fla.
I got mad at God for allowing this to happen.
I just lost my 25 yr old son on Mar 1 of this year, also in the same town in Fla. Drug OD. That's why the dissapearance from here for a while, grieving. Trying to get back to life again now.
Wow. I am so sorry.
We all think our lives suck till we learn of other people's journeys.
When I was younger I too turned by back on Dog more or less. I felt I didn't need Him. I'm glad he didn't turn His back on me!!
My oldest sister is cancer free and my father survived a quadruple by-pass operation thanks to God. My sister's bone marrow transplant and my father's heart surgery were within one year of each other. A lot of pressure for one family.
I love the '80s rock. Glam or not it's still my favorite.
But over a year ago I stopped listening to it. (now no station in myarea plays any)
I changed the radio stationto one of the fewChristian stations we have and that's where it stays.
