I'm a DJ in my spare time, so I always have whatever the newest stuff is on my monthly dj subscription cds playin in mine. I also have XM, for those really long road trips where you just have to have talk radio, to make you feel like you have company in the car

i think it would be nice to have xm, does anyone have any opinions on the difference between xm and sirius??? my car is already xm ready, so thats why i would go that way, but everyone keeps telling me sirius is better

 

Ilisten to XM in my House/Car and Office. The subscription in my car allows me to log onto XM on my computer so I can continue to listen anywhere I have a computer. Never had Sirus butthere is arumerof them merging anyways.

 

To me, the XM and Sirius = the same.

My parents have Sirius in their '07 Mopar 300C.

a lot of Kirk franklin, Mary mary, Brooklyn Tabernacle, Donald Lawrence, Hezekiah walker, kurt karr, Juanita Bynum, Tye Tribett, etc...

BUT.. The Music has no effect on my driving style or speed.

 

I also listen to Gospel music in my Rock'n SS.
I lost my 13 yr old daughter 14 yrs ago, brutally murdered in Fla.
I got mad at God for allowing this to happen.
I just lost my 25 yr old son on Mar 1 of this year, also in the same town in Fla. Drug OD. That's why the dissapearance from here for a while, grieving. Trying to get back to life again now.
Now it's just my wife, myself, and God. No grandkids, ever.
I will see them again in Heaven, when it's my time. I'm thankful they were both born again. My son??? I feel God spanked me real hard for not living life right. So I have changed my ways: got back into church, and am trying to live a clean life, as God wan'ts for me.
Therefore, Instead of the rock music I used to listen to (mostly classic rock), I listen to all kinds of Gospel music, everything from classic Elvis, to Al Green, Alan Jackson, Bart Millard, Amy Grant, and anything u can understand the words to. None of this Christian rap or hard rock S**T!
I have built a pretty good collection of cd's, but I listen to Sirius Spirit 66 quite a bit, including at work, online. Also some Classic Vinyl rock, ocassionally.
I have both XM and Sirius, and Sirius is FAR superior to XM in quality. Sirius is all CD quality music, and XM is all compressed music. The programming I feel is superior, also. I cancelled my XM for now, and have just the Sirius, but both are still installed.

Wayne, I am so sorry for your losses. But I am very happy that you have found peace with your religion, and with yourself.

On a much lighter note, did you use the factory radio that came with your Intimidator? Because I currently have XM, but also am considering changing to Sirius...
