I'm pretty open when it comes to MOST music. I like most stuff, but i'm not a huge fan of to much country music.
I mainly listen to Pop, Rock, and occasionally 80's :P
To give you all an idea of the type of music I mainly listen to, these are my favorite bands: Nickelback, Linkin Park, 3-Doors Down, Lifehouse....and many others similar.

I listen to a lot of classic rock. The stuff my Dad grew up on, is the stuff I grew up on.
Also like to listen to newer, favorite band would be Disturbed. And go from there
But 9 times out of 10 a classic rock radio station is on.

music
I mainly listen to Christian music....Steven Curtis Chapman, Casting Crowns, Natalie
Grant, Jars of Clay..etc..etc....
But I also listen to 80's music and I love the Oldie music from the 50's and early
60's. I've recently started appreciating Big Band Music.
I've tried country music and I have a couple of cd's but I can't take it for very long...

We have a station down here called STEVE_FM (probably more like it throughout the US). They play a pretty good mix of classic rock, pop, etc. It's I'm guessing, a computerized station, no DJ's just pre recorded banter from the same guy. Not a real strong station so if I get to far away from Columbia I lose it, besides that I'll listen to mostly anything. I grew up having to listen to what my older brothers wanted to listen to so it's usually classic rock but I like new country too. The old school twangy stuff you can keep.

I listen to talk radio.... I used to listen to country, and still do on weekends when Talk radio is playing classical music... but country stations, all of them in Raleigh, got to where they played the same 8-10 songs, and I jsut got tired of it. I heard the same song twice on a drive home from Campbell and never switched radio stations more. That's happened on more than one occasion. So now I listen to the talk radio guys.

i pretty much always have the radio on in the monte, lol. but damn its nice to have that CD player, too i like my classic rock, i can pull in 1 that plays stuff strictly from the late 60's-80's, 2 that play stuff from about '70 up to newer stuff like nickelback & disturbed and one thats about 90% stuff that came out post-1990. plus one country station that most of the stuff they play annoys the crap outta me, but some of it is OK... problem with all those stations is that they play the SAME FRIGGIN STUFF EVERY DAY... im to the point where i actually gag when bohemian rhapsody comes on the radio... 'caus they have played it MULTIPLE TIMES every day scince i was about 5... when i get sick of the same 'ol stuff i tune into the sentinary collage radio station over in hackettstown, NJ... (91.9 FM) they have one of the most diverse playlists i've ever heard, never heard the same thing twice. tons of good programing, but some of it is pretty annoying too ( blech, folk music ) lol
some of my favorites are on my playlist account. i listen to it pretty much every time im on here :
